someone who has heard a preview of the album described it as being "a brash
mix of intimate and force of nature reckless abandon. It's a hurricane of
drama and wall of sound Queen-eque harmonies with JC Chasez. It just flat

during a trip to London, JC contacted Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton of
the dance outfit Basement Jaxx. In the course of their meeting, JC ended
up stepping into the recording booth and providing the vocals for one of
the standout tracks on Kish Kash, "Plug It In". Basement Jaxx returned
the favor by collaborating with JC on the song "Shake It" for his own album.
Kish Kash was awarded the Grammy
for best electronic/dance album in 2004.
