In December 2003 JC performed at Christmas radio shows across the country and previewed songs from Schizophrenic on a five-city club tour that sold out in New York and Los Angeles.  [reviews are listed by show date]

Wango Tango - Hollywood Reporter  5/17/03
'N Sync's J.C. Chasez came out surrounded by writhing stripper-dancers he didn't need -- he may well become the strongest singer to emerge from his group.

Wango Tango - Ventura County Star  5/17/03
*NSYNC's Chasez, backed by a massive marching band made up of area students, puts on a splendid show with his solo hit "Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love)" off the "Drumline" soundtrack.

Zootopia - New York Times  6/1/03
The most memorable Zootopia performance came from an underdog, the 'N Sync singer JC Chasez, who teemed up with a marching band and drum corps for his wild Sousa-goes-electro single, "Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love)." It sounded great, and it was over in about five minutes.

Jive Showcase - FMQB   7/30/03
Did we mention that JC Chasez literally blew the roof off the room with a four-song performance complete with a live band and dancers? JC is destined to match or even surpass the success of his fellow band mate Justin Timberlake. It was without question the highlight of a night filled with outstanding new music, that also featured killer performances by R&B crooner Joe and rockers Three Days Grace.

Jingle Ball - Minneapolis Star Tribune  12/8/03
He had energy and plenty of dance moves (along with eight dancers). But he seems to want to play Prince to Justin Timberlake's Michael Jackson. Some of his content was inappropriate for preteens such as singing "all night long I dream about sex with you." Rating: One lump of coal.

Kissmas - Cleveland Free Times  12/16/03
'Nsyncer JC Chasez's set looked like the lost X-rated episode of The Grind as he and his dance crew gyrated to a song about drunken girl-on-girl action.

Kissmas - Akron Beacon Journal  12/16/03
Former 'N Sync brunet JC Chasez's set harkened back to the old days, with a troupe of eight dancers, costume changes and an extended dance break.

Frosty the Show - Hartford Courant  12/17/03
One song is all JC Chasez should have been allowed to perform. The raffish 'N Sync member's solo music is clearly aimed at a different audience than his boy band's sugary pop songs.

Irving Plaza - New York Times  12/19/03
There were lovelorn breakup ballads, like "Dear Goodbye," that didn't stray too far from 'N Sync. And given a lean, syncopated beat like the ones in "Some Girls (Dance With Women), "One Night Stand," "Shake It" (which was written by Basement Jaxx) or "Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love)," Mr. Chasez was perfectly at home in the disco-lighted fantasy he was so determined to construct.

Avalon - Boston Globe  12/20/03
Chasez has a decent voice, and the 'N Sync years have taught him impeccable stage presence. With a polished yet genuine gusto, he skipped and strutted around the stage, jumped and twisted in perfect unison with his eight dancers, and shook his curly mop of slicked-back hair.

Avalon - Boston Herald  12/20/03
He promised the cheering audience that [NSYNC would] do it again, don't worry. No one looked worried. Least of all Chasez, who, taped vocal harmonies aside, proved that he didn't need help from those friends to put on a dynamic show.
