Basement Jaxx
Plug It In

(XL)

With a roster featuring such luminaries as The White Stripes, Electric Six, Dizzee Rascal and The Avalanches, the XL label is right now occupying a position in the British music industry roughly equivalent to that of Real Madrid in the Champions League. Featuring the electrifying vocal stylings of N’Sync’s JC Chavez (finally, a boy-band member with some semblance of talent!), ‘Plug It In’ is a powerhouse rave anthem that’s guaranteed to turn even John Deasy into an E’d up lunatic (not that our more percipient political commentators haven’t already suggested this as a possible explanation for Fine Gael’s justice policies).
