JC Chasez “All Day Long I Think About Sex”

Former NSYNC-er JC CHASEZ has broken free of the boy-band label and the Justin Timberlake comparisons to release his first solo material. This first hit off the album “Schizophrenic” is totally fantastic. Combining the styles of rock, pop, R&B and the synths of new wave 80s songs he has fused them together to make a very original and highly catchy sound. The chorus lends itself to a sound not too different from Dead or Alive’s “You Spin Me Around” while the synths add new dimensions to the song. Vocally he is very capable and probably a little richer than Justin. If you have a chance to watch the music video for this song it is worth it. It’s been created with the use of old and new camera lens’ and JC looks unreal in the outfits he wears. It has been a hit already overseas and hopefully will do well here.

review Nightlife Music Video / “Plug It In”

… And the award for video of the month goes to Basement Jaxx with their outstanding new clip for Plug It In. The UK dance duo continue to rip up the rule book and team up with twisted Swedes Traktor to deliver another “experiment gone wrong” themed video with a similar feel to the monkey madness in 2001’s Where’s Your Head At.

The song is the third killer single to be lifted from the duo’s third album Kish Kash and features the pop punk hollering of N-Sync’s JC Chasez. This track has all the makings of a classic Jaxx assault on the dancefloors and our musical subconscious.
