Second album updates

10/06 JC’s official site through Jive Records, jcchasez.net, is updated with a new picture of JC. The accompanying message mentions some of the producers he is working with and states that his second solo album is due out in 2006.

10/10 Alex Greggs posts an update on the MusicFreedom message board and mentions that JC is in Atlanta working with Dallas Austin.

10/14 ET on MTV airs a segment on JC and Dallas Austin in the studio. They are working on what MTV says is the first single from the new album, a song called “All Over You.” JC also says that he hasn’t decided on a title for the album. [transcript]

10/24 according to MTV.com, R&B singer Frankie J will be working on a song with JC for JC’s new record. [article]

10/29 A new song (”If Only You Were Lonely”) is listed on the BMI Database. JC, Kara Dioguardi and Jimmy Harry are credited as the composers.

JC is one of the judges on MTV’s new dance contest. The show premieres on Feb. 7 at 10 PM, with a casting special airing on Jan. 26 at 2 PM.
