12/07 Q100’s Frosty the Showman at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA. JC goes onstage to talk with the DJs and introduce the performances of the Pussycat Dolls and the Backstreet Boys.

12/17 JC posts two entries to his Music Freedom blog. The first expresses his thanks for the fan-driven full-page ad commemorating the ten-year anniversary of NSYNC’s formation (visit www.nsync10.com to see the ad and learn more about the project), and the second wishes everyone a happy holiday.

12/18 Interview with Russell Rush of San Antonio’s Mix 96.1, held during the press call on the day before the Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas. JC says that he has turned in the last batch of songs for his album; they are looking to pick the first single soon after the new year and it should drop sometime in the first quarter. He mentions that he worked with Dallas Austin on the album, as well as Timbaland and Akon.

12/19 Cleveland’s Kiss FM radio station airs an interview with JC (taped the previous day). According to a listener, he told the DJ interviewing him that his album will be completed this week and that they are gong to pick the first single near the beginning of the year with the CD coming out shortly after.

12/23 The JC Chasez Official Fan Club sent an email to members today telling them to expect a new single early next year, with the album to follow in the spring.

[Designer Vince] Flumiani and [his partners] the Baldwins also see themselves setting trends from their Kansas headquarters by striking deals with stars. The Standard provided rocker Ryan Cabrera’s wardrobe for his MTV dating series. The partners also have outfitted big names for their local shows: Usher, Britney Spears, J.C. Chasez and Justin Timberlake. Two summers ago, when Jessica Simpson wore a pair of jeans onstage at Verizon Amphitheater that came from the Standard, the store sold 45 pairs the next day at more than 200 bucks a pop, Matt Baldwin says.

JC is one of the judges on MTV’s new dance contest. The show premieres on Feb. 7 at 10 PM, with a casting special airing on Jan. 26 at 2 PM.

The sixth track on the new Sugababes album Change, “Back When” was co-written by Dallas Austin and Gary White, with additional vocal production by JC Chasez.

According to IMDB, JC will play the part of “Ted Buckley” in a new comedy/horror movie called Killer Movie. (Formerly called Dead of Night)
