Lunch with JC

Like a politician on the campaign trail, J.C. Chasez is taking his message directly to the people.
The former member of N’Sync turned solo artist is on the road promoting his new single “Until Yesterday,” bringing him to the Atlanta Bread Company in Lower Paxton Twp. Monday afternoon.
Through a contest on WHKF “Kiss” 99.3 FM 20 fans won “Lunch with J.C.” While they ate, Chasez posed for photos and signed autographs.
“I’ve been so far away for so long playing those big (N’Sync) shows,” he said. “I want to get back in touch with the fans and radio. I think they appreciate that.”
Eric Podwall, Chasez’s manager, said they’ll spend two weeks traveling around the Northeast making radio and promotional appearances. After trips to New York’s Fashion Week, the Grammys and London, Chasez will pick up the campaign again in the Midwest and Texas.
The album containing “Until Yesterday,” Chasez’s second solo disc, will be released this spring.
“With this record I just didn’t want to put a product out there,” he said. “I wanted to make an intelligent pop record that was fun.”
Now that he’s on his own Chasez said “there is no compromise involved” with the creative process.
“I want to dream these ideas that can reach an audience,” he said. “It’s a challenge that I love.”
